This home was built in 1921 on a slight slope, and was one of the oldest homes in the area. The owner wished to maintain the homes roots and style, all the while, updating the interior design and functionality of the floor plan. He also wished to maintain the historical value of the home, and apply for the Mills Act, which reduces the property tax if the home maintains it’s historical value. We worked tirelessly in preserving the integrity of the home, while bringing up to date the kitchen, bathrooms and living spaces. The home maintains a feeling of history, while still being current and updated.
